Please note that on the school calendar, the following dates have been changed:
Tuesday, March 30, 2010 Parent Conferences 6-8 will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesday, March 31, 2010 Kindergarten Conferences will be Wednesday, April 7, 2010
Thursday, April 1, 2010 will no longer be an early release day and Thursday, April 8, 2010 will be the early release day with conferences taking place from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 pm |

The Vining runs a gift card program thoughout the year. Purchase your gift cards from the school and a portion of your gift card purchase is returned to the school. It's a great way to support the Vining school programs.
Last year this program raised $1,300.
Gift cards are available for daily use or gift giving. Purchase gift cards at face value and a portion of each card's cost comes back to the school. It is a win-win situation! Do you go to the 99 Restaurant once a month? Buy a 99 Restaurant card and use it instead of cash. Dunkin Donuts a weekly trip? The possibilities are endless and easy.

Reading Incentive Program |

The Vining School Reading Incentive Program will begin in November. The children are asked to read for 20 minutes a night at least 10 nights a month. They will receive a small prize for their participation. Monthly Reading Incentive Program forms will be sent home to log the time your child has read. Look for the program information and November log sheets in your child's folder. If you have any questions, pleas contact Denise Moore 978-362-2187

The money we raise through box tops goes to playground maintenance. It keeps the mulch filled, which will be refilled this year, the structure free of graffiti, and money to purchase new equipment when needed. So keep this in mind when purchasing your box top items at the store. The more box tops brought in the more money we raise to keep our playground safe. |
